What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MC, Amex, Discover and automatic debit through Paypal. Prices listed on are site are in Canadian dollars - when you make the payment, it will convert it to your currency and apply the exchange rate.

Do you ship overseas?
We only ship overseas under certain conditions. Due to the amount of fraud that we receive from overseas, overseas customers must contact us first to get permission to place an order.

Do you have gift certificates?
We sure do! Remember when ordering that these are in Canadian dollars. The shopping cart will try to charge you shipping, which we will refund.

How may I place an order?
Orders may be placed by clicking on the "order" button beside the item you wish to order. You may also order by fax, which is (250) 923-8192.

The shopping cart doesn't show my discount for quantity orders. Why not?
Try refreshing your browser and check which item you have clicked on. If the item qualifies for a quantity discount, please select the appropriate order button from the selection. If you make an error and accidentally choose the wrong price, don't worry - when we receive the order we will correct it for you.

Are there any sales taxes?
No sales taxes will be charged on any orders.

What happens to the information I submit?
All details submitted will be kept confidential. We do not sell names, addresses, phone numbers or any other information you give us. We may however, use the information you submit to contact you regarding your order.

How much shipping do I add onto my order?
If you add the items to your order, you will be able to check the cost of shipping at any time by clicking on your chosen shipping method and hitting "recalculate".

I would like to place an order by snail mail, what is your shipping address?
If you would like to send your order by letter mail, please email us for our shipping address.

I don't live in Canada, will I have to pay duty?
Duty to the USA is very rare. If there is duty, you will be charged at the time of delivery and if you are charged, it is only a minimal fee (such as $10). To the US, this only applies to orders over $200 US, on items made outside of the USA. If you are charged duty and you live in the USA, send us the receipt within 2 weeks and we will reimburse you (overseas and wholesale orders void).

What are your business hours?
We have kids and other jobs, so we don't really have any set business hours. We often check email in the middle of the night.

How soon will I receive confirmation of my order?
We will send you confirmation within 1 working day. If you do not receive it within this time, please email us.

Do you have catalogues available?
We no longer send out catalogues due to the price. All our products are listed online.

What if an item I order goes on sale after my purchase?
If any of our items go on sale (clearance exempt) within 14 days of your purchase, we will reimburse the difference via store credit. Just let us know while the sale is still on.

What is your guarantee/return policy?
Have you ever purchased something only to find a week later it didn't work anymore? We warrant ALL items against defects for at least 30 days from purchase (some items are even longer), provided you follow the manufacturer's instructions.

We realize that shopping online can sometimes be difficult. Is that swatch magenta or lavender? Royal blue or navy? Therefore, we have revised our return policy to be easier on our customers. It's never a problem to return something allowable under our return policy.

Please note that bra pads and any other hygienic item must be in originally sealed packaging in order to return them, due to hygienic standards. Health regulations prohit the return of hygienic items which have been tried on, such as cloth diapers. Other items will gladly be accepted, when following our return policy. Please follow the return instructions included with your order when making a return.

Clearance and special-order items are all sales final.

If you wish to return an item to us, please contact us prior to sending your parcel so that we may give you a return authorization number. We ask that you be sensitive and do not return items with pet hair, marks, scents or cigarette smoke, as we are unable to resell items in other than new condition.

How soon do you send orders out?
All in-stock items will be sent out within 3 days of receiving payment and in most cases will be sent out within a day or two. Xpresspost orders are given priority attention and are done up first, then airmail and surface mail. Xpresspost orders almost always go out the same day, airmail will go out within 2 days and Expedited and surface within 3 days.

How soon should I get my order?
Within Canada, most parcels arrive within 7 days. Xpresspost within Canada takes about 2-3 days. For US orders, it takes about 2-3 weeks for surface mail. Xpresspost is also available. With this option, your parcel should arrive in about 7 business days and comes with a delivery confirmation number. Xpresspost is the only method that comes with a tracking number to the USA. If you decide to cancel your order after we have already packaged it up and/or shipped it, you will be responsible for our actual fees incurred for packaging and shipping.

The above times are an estimate only and while most parcels will arrive within the specified time, very occasionally a parcel may take longer due to being held up in customs or other reasons beyond our control. If a product gets lost, damaged or delayed, Bareware will not be liable for fees in excess of the cost of the product. We do insure parcels, if you parcel arrives damaged, please don't let the postal person leave without signing that the parcel arrived in damaged condition! Failure to do so may result in us not being able to issue a refund or replacement.

Lost or damaged parcels are very rare.

If you choose to have your order left on your step when you are not home, we are NOT responsible for theft. We will be happy to mark your order for you if this is your wish, but will not be responsible for replacing your package if theft occurs.
